Introduction to 3D Modeling and Printing
Students engage in hands-on projects that teach introductory 3D modeling techniques while building skills in 3D printing, design for manufacturing, and career exploration.
Intermediate 3D Modeling
Students build upon prior knowledge to create new designs, assemblies, and apply 3D printing techniques to construct unique objects.
Advanced 3D Modeling (Motion)
Students utilize advanced skills to model, print, assemble, and test prototypes capable of flight, motion, and/or recording.
Introduction to Coding
Students will explore what a computer is, how it works, and learn foundational skills for how computer science can be used to solve problems, communicate, and express creative ideas. Raspberry Pi computers will serve as the vehicle for exploration.
Coding for Games and Apps
Students will build upon prior knowledge to create animations and games using code. An emphasis will be placed on working with the design process, testing and debugging, and using programming to be personally creative and expressive.
Coding - Physical Computing
Students will build on their programming skills to program with hardware and use physical computing to solve problems and create unique projects.
Introduction to Robotics
Students build and program robots using the Robolink RockIt Smart Kit to complete robotics and coding challenges. Students Keep Robot Kit upon completion.
Students build upon prior knowledge to create robots capable of a Sumo competition, race, and battle-bot challenge.
Introduction to Autonomous Vehicles
Students utilize advanced sensors and programing to design, construct, and program robots capable of autonomous operation, culminating in a final challenge. Students may purchase kits at completion of camp.
